The machinery is rusted, the dams need to be strengthened and the big shaker, which is urgently needed to finally win gold on a large scale, is not yet ready for use: Mat and Andreas roll up their sleeves at Palmer River Camp. But during the rainy season, clean-up becomes an exhausting challenge as violent thunderstorms have turned Australia's rivers into raging white-water.
